Eeeeaaaa! Are you there?

Eeeaaa is Jonas' version of saying Aunt Andrea. The other day I was cooking in the kitchen and I heard him having a conversation with Eeeaaa. He often uses different objects as his "telephone." On this day it was the letter "o" from his L*apfrog alphabet magnet. He loves his Aunt Eeeaa and so do I. We miss her very much! See you in MAY!!!!!

I came across some pictures through a persons Face*ook page that led me to Kim Sinclair. Kim and I didn't know each other personally but she grew up knowing my sister-in-law and Joe through school. Kim is a very talented artist and you can find her beautiful artwork here. I fell in love with her paintings and I asked her to do one of our Jonas. I started saving my money weeks ago and today she dropped off his beautiful portrait! I LOVE IT! I can't stop looking at it.
I had sent Kim several pictures of Jonas at different ages. She primarily used our family picture taken at Thanksgiving to capture Jonas' look. I haven't hung it yet but its going to hang on a red wall. I will take pictures once its up. If you want to capture a loved one in this way please visit her blog! Thank you Kim for helping us in cherishing our Jonas!

Ivy at 3 months

Yes, 3 months. I can't believe it. Our sweet Ivy is growing so fast. We have officially moved her into her room. She had been in a bassinet in our room, but as of Monday, she is sleeping in her crib now. She has had several nights of sleeping through the night this week. :-) Yea! for more sleep for mama. But, just as she started sleeping through the night she has also figured out how to flip over from her tummy to her back. Last night and I found her flipped over and crying in frustration. Jonas didn't flip like that until he was 4 months old. I can't believe Ivy has already started. So, what I thought would be longer nights might be interrupted with her turning over. I remember having to turn Jonas back over a few times but it wasn't often.
Ivy is such a smiley baby. Once you start talking to her she flashes that adorable grin. Its so fun watching her reactions to things. I'm thankful she enjoys her swing now and I can concentrate on helping Jonas with potty training more. Its a dreadful thing. I hate every minute of it. I can't wait for all the hard work, repetitive reading and singing to pay off! We love you Jonas. :-)
